" Peaceful Actions of All Students The Problem of Racism in Wamena is Disbanded by Malay Army Bullets "

The Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) descended to disperse the student action in Wamena this morning. without first confirming the TNI to disperse by firing several students. (09-23-2019)

This morning all school children, from elementary, junior high and high school levels in Wamena were conducting a dami demonstration along the main road to the district office which took place this morning around 7:45.

This morning's action was carried out simultaneously by joint students in Wamena, they protested against racist utterances made by one of the 'Indonesian teachers' in one of the Schools, where the teacher while teaching in class had issued racist utterances by calling the Papuans " monkey". which caused all students in wamena to come down to peace.

Simultaneously the students and teachers in Wamena took a stand and went peacefully and orderly to take responsibility for what was said by a teacher.

Meanwhile, UNCEN students and a group of Papuan exodus students are conducting a strike on education in kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, high school & university on Papua which is taking place in Jayapura, Papua Province.

This morning at 6:00 the UNCEN University Fence was locked in the fence, while an oration by the uncen Student korlap in the courtyard of the Uncen Auditorium was underway. The other mass, still on their way.

Meanwhile it has been confirmed that all Papuan Educators (Teachers) in Wamena take a stand to stop teaching, besides that in some areas such as; Yahukimo, Yalimo, Nduga, Tolikara and several other areas are following to conduct a teaching strike after being confirmed by a teacher who was met during a peaceful demonstration this morning.
